So the truth is that the bookshelf has become an essential part of the everyday life.
Corner shelf is the most practical type. The fact is that it has the advantage in comparison with the others because it is situated in that part of the room that usually stands empty, that is in its corner. As we see this type of shelf is for those who want to arrange all the little things around not limiting themselves in space for their placing. Corner shelf is a nice place for flowerpots that will make your house look more vivid and attractive.
Floating shelf is called so because of its construction. It is designed in such way that you don’t see any brackets that support the shelf. Actually it seems that a shelf is “floating” on the wall. Despite the apparent fragility of the construction, this type of shelf can hold considerable weight. It is a perfect place for displaying collectible items, photos, souvenirs, fluffy toys or anything else. But we should warn you that it is not the best place for keeping some set of books, for this purpose you are better to use a bookshelf.

There are some people who prefer to choose metal shelves instead of wooden ones. Storage shelf is a multi-purpose device. It is almost impossible to imagine our everyday life without it. It is used for keeping all sort of stuff that is not necessary at the moment, but can come in handy at any time. That’s why it’s quite effective to keep all the things on a storage shelf, though we can admit that sometimes it’s difficult to find the item you need among this heap. Moreover, there are storage shelves for keeping a definite type of things. Nowadays the most useful thing is a CD-storage shelf. Look around you. Do you see hips of CD and DVD discs? They are not sorted out and in one mix, so that you waste a lot of time on finding the one you need? Then it’s high time to buy a storage shelf for these discs and put them in the proper place. The other case is when you want to get rid of unnecessary things.
